My name is Chelsea Carmichael, owner and operator of P-KASi. In 2007, I started P-KASi as a way to turn some of my artistic passion and talent into something that can benefit others. I have been working with graphics for over 10 years and continue to take classes in the areas of design and business to make sure I can provide the best services possible.

The first computers I was introduced to were Macintoshs in the school computer lab. This was in the fall of 1992, and we were permitted to use a few school related programs, which included Photoshop 2.0 for art class. Though this was my very first introduction to the Adobe Suite, I started to hone my skills 1998, when I received an Apple iMac from a friend. This computer had Adobe Photoshop 5.0 and became the true basis of my learning.

Since then, I have worked with every version of Photoshop while also learning other programs such as Illustrator, Dreamweaver, PaintShop Pro, FlexiSign Pro, and Omega. Though most of my base learning has been through self-instruction and research, I have taken a variety of courses to fine tune my skills. I have also worked in 2 different sign shops where we used Flexi-Sign and Illustrator to create custom vehicle graphics, banners, and signs to help advertise for our customers.

Currently, I use a MacBook Pro with Adobe CS4 Web Premium (Dreamweaver CS4, Flash CS4 Professional, Photoshop CS4 Extended, Illustrator CS4, Fireworks CS4, Acrobat 9 Pro, Soundbooth CS4, Contribute CS4, Adobe Bridge CS4, Adobe Device Central CS4, Version Cue CS4) for all of my work and I look forward to helping you with your project!
